Doula Mentorship Program
As a Collective, we love to have doulas shadow us as we provide birth support to our mamas and provide childbirth education to parents. Our hearts are to empower new doulas, as we simultaneously empower expectant families.
About Our Program
If you are a newly trained doula, a doula new to Colorado Springs, a doula aspiring to become a birth center approved doula, or whatever your story might be, we would love to connect with you!

Doula Mentoring Options:
- Doula Mentorship Workshop : $75
- Audit our Childbirth Education Course which includes Newborn Class and Breastfeeding Class: $100
- Shadow Birth Experience: $100 per birth

Doula Mentorship Workshop:
Join us for our 2-hr long workshop with a small group of other new/new-to-town doulas to discuss what doula support looks like in Colorado Springs at home births, Beginnings Birth Center and hospital births. Get insider tips and info on how to communicate with midwives, communication with clients, prenatal/postpartum visits, advice on the process of getting on the birth center’s approved doula list and many more important doula must-knows that will make your doula journey easier and enrich your birth support!
**Attending our Doula Mentorship Workshop is a prerequisite to shadowing births with us.**

Our shadowing doulas will be partnered with clients who have consented to having a shadowing doula be part of their birth team. As part of their birth team, you will have the opportunity to attend a prenatal with this mama so that you can get to know each other before her birthing day. On the client's birthing day, you will be able to shadow through the entire birth experience. ** Shadow birth experiences are by availability only. Birth availability is dependent upon client consent. Timing of shadow birth cannot be guaranteed for this reason.**
We also would love to have shadowing doulas audit our childbirth education classes.

A huge part of why we created this program is because our Collective offers scholarships for low-income clients and clients in financial hardship. The majority of the Doula Mentorship Package rate will go towards our scholarship program.
